giants causeways

Giant's Causeway Tour
McComb's Travel offers visitors to Northern Ireland the longest established tour of what is commonly called "The eighth wonder of the world". Travel in one of our award winning coaches along the Causeway Coastal Route - one of world's 5 most spectacular drives!
Enjoy the first stop of the day at Carrickfergus Castle, before travelling onward to the main highlight of the tour - Giant's Causeway, Irelands only world heritage site. Spend some time climbing over the ancient stones, and visiting the untamed landscape before making a retreat to one of the tempting cafes or restaurants at the Causeway for lunch.
After you re-fuel at the Causeway, we will re-board our luxury coach to move on to the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle for a quick photo, before moving on to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery at Bushmills. Here you can browse in the extensive gift shop, or make a visit to the bar to have a swift taste or two of the famous tipple!
The next stop of the day is the world famous Carrick-a-rede Ropebridge, where the brave among us can make the terrifying trip across the bridge that was originally erected by salmon fishermen. For those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on land, take one of the exhilarating walks, and enjoy the stunning views.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TYbKoE0P3gI/AAAAAAAADpk/1c9oFXJf91I/s720/IMG_0061.JPG
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TYbKsAsX7TI/AAAAAAAADpo/akN2J_BNkO8/s720/IMG_0055.JPG

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX8491eaC0I/AAAAAAAADV4/2tJxpHVitN8/s720/IMG_0081.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX8xC5VbXZI/AAAAAAAADUc/-zXYA6yG_6k/s720/IMG_0192.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TYbJyHzPHmI/AAAAAAAADpM/0SJixhGcDSs/s720/IMG_0151.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX84TMW2ZXI/AAAAAAAADVU/RoF84m11w0M/s720/IMG_0172.JPG

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TYbJedN8saI/AAAAAAAADpI/WDEIu83juhc/s720/IMG_0245.JPG

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX8xndk04vI/AAAAAAAADUg/QOcwx3OOOeY/s720/IMG_0225.JPG

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX8zk1ZtjPI/AAAAAAAADUo/5aGeNut_kFc/s720/IMG_0262.JPG

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX855TF7ceI/AAAAAAAADWE/0C-zpW3KNqY/s720/IMG_0271.JPG

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX83ZT9kYdI/AAAAAAAADU4/ACgN4LIrqPM/s720/IMG_0342.JPG

Rope Bridge
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX82wmDb5CI/AAAAAAAADUw/4FoLbt9pouA/s720/IMG_0298.JPG

Ropebridge
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX86TvCkoRI/AAAAAAAADWI/R7Rp9CQxdec/s720/IMG_0307.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TYbI9KojN-I/AAAAAAAADpA/BwPSPE81W0w/s720/IMG_0315.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_4DRuBfv7eVg/TX83ACtWRuI/AAAAAAAADU0/4W8FLAmp_hU/s720/IMG_0323.JPG

Copenhagen

I need a doctor, call me a doctor, I need a doctor…

Nyboder is a historic row house district of former Naval barracks in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was planned and first built by Christian IV to accommodate a need for housing for the personnel of the rapidly growing Royal Danish Navy and their families during that time. While the area is still commonly associated with the name of its founder as one of his numerous building projects around Copenhagen, the Nyboder seen today was in fact, except for a single row of houses in St. Paulsgade, built from 1757. Nyboder is today very much associated with their yellow colour and "Nyboder yellow" is in Danish often used as a generic term to refer to their exact hue of yellow.
